The Neck Gore Tex® jacket is the most innovative and sophisticated of Daineses Motorbike Collection 2007. This new item is based around the Neck 4, a support built into the jacket collar which the technicians at D-Tec® (The Dainese Technology Center) have devised to provide motorcyclists with extra protection around the neck. Neck 4 follows your every movement and supports you against wind pressure in order to afford unprecedented safety in any riding position. Consequently the neck muscles can relax and riding comfort is increased, a feature that is much appreciated during long motorway journeys.
This jacket is the ideal apparel for sports touring with its external thermoformed shoulders, its anti-flap adjustors that use a zip to prevent the sleeves from flapping and its new bubble internal lining. This lining is another brand new feature that comes straight from the racing suits worn by World Championship riders; it vaunts a super comfortable, thermal and breathable interior that uses its special honeycomb structure to create an air cavity that insulates the rider from their surroundings and sets up a perfect microclimate inside the jacket.
A new fabric, Misano 2L Gore Tex®, makes an important contribution to the jackets comfort and warmth. This laminated fabric is coupled directly with a waterproof, windproof and breathable Gore-Tex® membrane and has heat-sealed internal seams. Misano 2L Gore Tex® is lighter than other previous three-layer fabrics and also has the advantage of not saturating when it rains.
To further enhance safety, the jacket has articulated shoulder protectors and removable composite elbow protectors; what is more, there is also a pocket for a Series G back protector (Wave G. or Backspace G.). The Neck Gore Tex® jacket is available in an all-black version and one with red inserts.
NOTE: we recomend one size larger than normal as this is a very tight fitting jacket. Especially if you have large arms or like to wear layers.
